Come enjoy some whisky with us at Deacon Brodie’s Whisky Bar! Once a month we host a whisky tasting event on a Sunday, starting at 4pm. This is open to ANYONE - beginners and connoisseurs alike.

We usually sample four single malts from Scotland, normally paired with some snacks and chocolates. Dave Sharp (yes, our former bartender and our golden scotch protector of the former Highlander Pub) will take you on a guided tasting so you can learn about each whisky & their distilleries.

We do require an RSVP, as most of our scotch tastings tend to be sold out, with waiting lists! You can beat the rush every month by subscribing to our WHISKY NEWSLETTER (click here!) - our mailing list recipients get invites to our tasting or special event at least 24 hours before we make them public on our website & socials. We promise not to spam you with emails - you will only get one email a month for invites to our tastings, but once in awhile we do have TWO events a month where you may receive a bonus email or two.

We do not require pre-payment online to save your spot, you can pay at our pub at the tasting. Designated Drivers, sober friends, as well as whisky-curious pals are WELCOME to attend with you. If they are not drinking whisky, they will NOT be charged to attend the tasting. However PLEASE include them in your RSVP so we have enough seats!

Our full menu (food & drinks) are available to order from with your designated server before, during, and after the tasting event. So all event guests can enjoy more than just scotch during the event.

*If you have non-drinkers / non-partakers joining you at the tasting event, PLEASE include them on the TOTAL people at the table in the form below. Then, let us know how many people at the table will be partaking in whisky drinking at the table. We set up before you arrive and need to make sure we have enough spots at your table when we set the floorplan, and the right amount of whisky poured for the guests at your table.

We take all RSVP’s in the order in which they are received, we do try to update with a SOLD OUT notice on this page, but we will let you know in your confirmation email that you may be waitlisted if multiples come in before we notice a SELL OUT.
